Evidence Vol. XXXI : Murderation 13-15

Here are some more interesting themed shows from Murderation.  First off is an episode devoted entirely to the women of reggae.  Listen in for a glimpse of the power and beauty of these ladies of Jamaica as they control things up front and behind the scenes.  The next show is an all Studio One night featuring recordings made by Clement Dodd aka Sir Coxsone Dodd on Brentford Road in Kingston, one of the most renowned studios in Jamaica.  In episode 15, we delve into the themes Pan-Africanism and Black Nationalism and try to uncover little known archetypes of the movement and how their ideas reverberated into the music of the day.

Murderation 13 : Women

Murderation 14 : Studio One

Murderation 15 : Pan-Africanism
